This mug is designed to KEEP hot coffee hot, not warm it up. I don’t know how people complain about it not getting hot enough. I no longer have my coffee going cold on me. I actually enjoy mine so much that I bought a second to have at home while I keep my original at work. It’s made of the same stuff as standard mugs so as long as you take care of the finish and don’t use any metal utensils with it, it’ll totally be fine. Please feel free to chime in if you own one. I feel a traditional high end mug will work better in the end. It seems like it’s more hassle than it’s worth. I just don’t see how this can last more than a year or 2 & then your stuck buying a new one. This is enough for me to not purchase this item. The biggest complaints are not hot enough, won’t charge, stopped working after so many months & inside is flaking away. Even though the reviews are decent, I knew exactly what all the bad reviews would say. So I’m not sure I would ever buy a product like this.
