Honestly that's what teleporting to shadows is. Never liked Teleporting to shadows ( you can totally do that with Aragami 2, double jump and dashes mid-air can take you long distances, previously you had a limited range where you could jump to another shadow ). They did fix the game (though I feel like they gave up on Aragami 2, or will maybe release a DLC then go away? We don't have many news) but it did hurt it a whole lot.Īs a Tenchu fan Aragami 2 is way closer to that game than Aragami 1. Well, all this led to negative reviews and hate from the community. The game was also released in a terrible state, no control mapping, plenty of game breaking bugs, co-op was also broken. (apparently everything was too similar) Instead, we got a single tree, we cannot max it out, and it's lacking. they gave up on the entire skill system with 3 different trees oriented towards fighting, stealth and I don't remember what else. the combat system is broken and doesn't even seem to make sense when you try it for the first time Shadows are useless and the entire concept of Aragami is gone (in 1, shadows were really important to regenerate your powers and you could only teleport in shadows. No level editor (1 had it and it does seriously limit the replayability)
It's not very hard, maybe a bit repetitive. However, yes, as Turritopsis said, it's lacking. Don't get me wrong, the game is really cool and I enjoyed it.
